About Adult Autism Centers of America

Creating Opportunities.
Building Independence.

At Adult Autism Centers of America, we believe every adult deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, purpose, and independence. Our mission is dedicated to helping adults on the autism spectrum access the resources, support systems, and opportunities they need to thrive.

Our Story

Why We Exist

For many families, support services become increasingly limited once individuals with autism transition into adulthood.

While tremendous resources exist for children, adults often face significant challenges finding employment opportunities, supportive housing, life skills programs, social engagement, and long-term community support.

Adult Autism Centers of America was created to help address this critical need.

We recognize that adulthood should not mark the end of opportunity. Instead, it should be the beginning of greater independence, personal growth, and community involvement. Our organization is committed to creating pathways that help individuals build confidence, develop meaningful skills, and lead fulfilling lives.

The Challenge We're Addressing

Supporting Adults Beyond The Classroom

Many adults with autism face significant challenges after aging out of school-based support programs. When individuals transition into adulthood, they frequently encounter a steep decline in available resources—creating a critical gap that impacts their ability to build independent, fulfilling lives.

  • Limited employment and vocational training programs
  • Insufficient housing options for independent living
  • Social isolation and reduced community engagement
  • Limited access to specialized ongoing support services

Adult Autism Centers of America is committed to addressing these disparities directly through innovative skill-building programs, strategic employer partnerships, and community-driven living solutions.
